Sayeh-Roshan—Persian for "chiaroscuro"—explores the interplay of light and shadow as a metaphor for the complexities of modern life and dual cultural identities. This concert program features three new works for double bass and piano, composed specifically to reflect on what it means to possess a Persian identity while living in the West.
